Abstract: Oxidative stress plays an central pathogenic role in endothelial dysfunction it is newlineassociated with cardiovascular risk factors and diabetes which leads to the appearance of newlinevascular lesions and it also increases the permeability of endothelial dysfunction. The increase newlinein the production of Reactive Oxygen species, superoxide, peroxide ion or free peroxyl newlineradicals represents the main cause of the decreased Nitric oxide bioavailability in Metabolic newlinesyndrome. The present study was done to determine the oxidative parameters, inflammation newlineparameters and endothelial dysfunction in Metabolic syndrome(MetS) and Diabetes patients. newlineSamples collected from the Metabolic syndrome and Diabetes patients admitted to the General newlineMedicine Department and Processing of the samples is carried out in Department of newlineBiochemistry at Sri Lakshmi Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences, Puducherry. A total of newlinesix hundred sixty blood samples including controls were studied during this period. In present newlinestudy, oxidative parameters are increased more than the inflammation and endothelial newlinedysfunction. Oxidative parameters are increased in metabolic syndrome patients compared to newlinediabetes and controls group. In present study oxidative parameters provides the strong newlineevidence to induce the endothelial dysfunction in metabolic syndrome group. newline newline newline
