Abstract: | Cancer is one of the leading cause of death which occurs due to the abnormal newlinegrowth of cells in the body. It has turned into a major risk and threat to the newlineindividuals all over the globe. Breast cancer is one of the leading cause of mortality newlinerate among females all over the world. The mortality rate can be reduced newlinesignificantly by early diagnosis and increase in awareness in the population. To newlinefacilitate early diagnosis and to reduce mortality rate due to breast cancer, highly newlineprécised automated Computer Assisted Diagnosis (CAD) techniques are required. newlineIn order to increase the survival rate, there is a need for better techniques to be newlinedeveloped for breast cancer diagnosis. There exist different means of imaging newlinemodalities: Mammography, Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance newlineImaging, Ultrasound and Biopsy which help in diagnosing breast cancer. newlineHistopathology study (Biopsy) is widely used to analyse the image which further newlinehelps in diagnoses of breast cancer. The focus of this research is to build enhanced newlinetechniques for different CAD stages which play a fundamental role in reducing the newlineinter and intra observer variability gap. newline |
