Abstract: The growth of mutual funds has been phenomenal. The mobilization of funds newlineby mutual funds has been on the rise since 1964. When mutual fund market was newlinethrown open to the public sector in 1987, private sector in 1993and foreign mutual newlinefunds in 2003 the corpus of mutual fund in India had swelled tremendously. newlineThe main objective of the study is to find the investors perception of mutual newlinefund. Purposive sampling method is used to collect data. Two hundred respondents newlinefrom each of the 3 regions of Andhra, Rayalaseema and Telangana which constituted newlineformer state of Andhra Pradesh had been selected. A structured questionnaire was newlinegiven to respondents of the selected regions which consisted of mutual fund newlinequestions. newline
