dc.description.abstract | Today there is increasing demand for clean and reliable source of electricity. Solar hub is newlinemost abundant, clean and reliable renewable energy resource available on the planet. Hence newlineharnessing this green energy intelligently can super scribe over the existing conventional newlinesources for power generation. Therefore, some improved technologies can prove to be a life newlineline for the same. It is a matter of great concern and proper steps are required to be taken for newlinethe long-lasting and effective supply of power. Specifically, the areas, where grid newlineconnectivity is poor and demand is high, have to rely on their own generation. The best and newlinemost economical substitute to the grid supply is standalone PV systems. It has been observed newlinethat though the total installation capacity has reached 34.40 GW in India (Feb. 2020); but newlinemajor problems arises in maximizing utilization of generated solar power. Presently we are newlinesomehow lacking in technologies for optimally using the generated clean energy. Also, the newlineareas where grid connectivity fails or suffers from large power cuts; a stand-alone PV newlinesystem proves to be one of the best options for a continuous supply. newlineThe proposed work specifies a Stand- Alone off-grid PV system where firstly real time newlinemonitoring of the parameters of PV (photovoltaic) systems is carried out. With the system of newlinecollecting, archiving, and analyzing the data measured one can monitor, define, and newlinesubsequently interpret all positive and more significantly the negative external effects on the newlineefficiency of the device. A MATLAB module and an algorithm is developed on newlineexperimental basis. In a traditional standalone PV system, if the connected load or demand newlineincreases above the solar generation then the whole system is switched to the utility grid, newlinewhich clearly means that the generated solar power is wasted in such a system. Hence, to newlinereduce the solar power wastage and enhance its utilization, a system has been made in which newlinesolar as well as grid supplies are kept independent. newlineIn the proposed thesis an attempt has b | |
