Abstract: In the Past Years, I-IV and II-VI semiconductor materials phosphor have attracted considerably from the research community because of their wide range of applications in various technologies and devices. Chemical route method is an ideal method to obtain low cost powder, due to its simplicity and less requirement of additional experimental components. newlineIn this studies Pure and Zn mixed base of lead hydroxide and lead oxide powder are synthesized by Chemical route methods at room temperature and different concentration of complexing agent TEA (tri ethanol amine). The powder further annealed at different temperature. newlineWith the help of XRD studies the structural parameters of Powder are calculated .The crystalline size of the powder varies with change in doping concentration and annealing. Elemental compositions of different regions or features within the specimen were checked with performingenergy dispersive X-ray spectrometry. The SEM micrograph of powderconforms the rod and plate like morphology. newlineFrom the results of the optical absorption spectra we observed that band gap of the powder varies with doping concentration and annealing. To determine the actual particle size of sample, the Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) technique is used. Particle size obtained in nano range and varies with concentration of TEA and temperature. newlineWhen this solid is excited by short wavelength light (usually UV radiation), the phenomenon is known as photoluminescence (PL). PL in solids is classified in view of the nature of the electronic transitions producing the luminescence. newlineFourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectra are recorded for all prepared thin transparent pellet samples between the frequency ranges of 4000 400 cm-1 for 32 scans. newlineColour coordinates are one of the important factors for evaluating phosphor s colour. The luminescence colour of the prepared phosphors has been characterized by the CIE (Commission International de I Eclairage) 1931 chromaticity diagram. Every natural colour can be identified by (x, y) coordinates. newline
