Abstract: newline The conservation of water quality of our water sources is crucial to maintain public health and serve all its designated best usages. Water quality is influenced by a wide range of pollutants coming from a various point and non-point sources. These pollutants along with the other parameters of water that affect the water quality can be used as indicators to assess the quality of water. The non-point sources are the major sources of surface water pollution and this form of pollution is difficult to quantify.
