Abstract: Nowadays, mobile phone is become a necessity of everyone s life. The usage of mobile phone is increasing so rapidly across the universe. Changing technological aspect thrills every on to be updated with new technology. The use of mobile phone well connected with internet has impacted every section of the society. In a study, it has been argued that mobile phones are popular among students because they provide an easy platform to increase their social communication (Hong FY, 2012). On the other hand, in an another research study, conducted Ellison NB(2007) exhibits that college students use more social networking sites to maintain existing friendships rather than to make new friends. The growing popularity of mobile phones across the world and in particular among young people has been a topic of interest among academic researchers. The Focus of present study is to know the attitude of mobile internet users in Varanasi District of Uttar Pradesh. It was also designed to know the usage behavior of mobile on the young brigade in the age group of 15 to 29. The age group is taken for the research to be exactly focus on the youth. The study was conducted on the 400 youth of different colleges of Varanasi in the target age group. For the collection of data a 44 question long questionnaire is prepared to get the response as well as interview of Five experts from the field is also taken to know the right picture of the problem. The major findings of the research is that mostly student use internet on their mobile phones at home, they text a lot. A big section of the students are using facebook to be in touch with friends and families. Most experts state that youth is getting addicted with the mobile phone device and mobile internet has reduced the face to face communication. The mobile phone has extended personal space of the users, in other words we can say that social and personal network of the mobile internet users has v been increased. newline
