Abstract: e-Governance refers to the application of information technology (IT) to newlineimprove the services provided by the government sector to benefit the citizens. IT is newlinechanging rapidly, and it is almost essential for the government to use the IT services newlinein an effective way to provide hassle-free services to the common man. Information newlineand Communication Technologies (ICT) have witnessed a significant boom in the newlinecurrent century. e-Governance is an expanded form of e-Government. e-Governance newlinecan be defined as a medium to make coordinative interaction between the eGovernment and the citizens to benefit both. We cannot put all the concept and newlinemeaning of e-Governance in one simple definition. e-Governance principally focuses newlineon responsibilities of a politically elected government to effectively interact with newlinevarious stakeholders to attain the goal of socio-economic policies. e-Governance newlineshould post all the necessary information on the government website. newlineMid Day Meal scheme is driven by multi stakeholders starting from the newlinecenter Government of India to village government, where by the coordination newlinebecomes complex and complicated for efficient and effective delivery of public newlineservices. The introduction of IVRS by Mid Day Meal Authorities, Lucknow has newlinebecome a change agent for implementing ICT based monitoring system for achieving newlineGood Governance ICT to IVRS. There is lot of studies existing in the field of eGovernment adoption in developed countries, but very few studies are available in newlineIndian context. Every study has used various factors in different public utility service newlinesector. While implementing government schemes/projects, outcomes or results are newlinenot realized on ground as intended for on paper. So there is a gap between policy newlineintention on paper and policy implemented in the field.
