Abstract: Communication indicates to the process by which information is transmitted and newlineunderstood between two or more people. Communication is an integral part of the newlineorganizational process as the flow of communication goes up and down the organizational newlinehierarchy has its effects on efficiency, decision- making and morale of organizations. newlineTherefore, effective communication is regarded as the foundation of organizations today. newlineOrganizations in Yemen have been facing with an array of problems that seem to be an newlineimpediment to the growth of any organization such as, mismanagement of funds and newlineresources, low level of real income, poor leadership skills, and poor infrastructural newlinefacilities to mention but a few. It is in this context that this study examines the role of newlinecommunication on organization performance, their productivity, using selected newlineorganizations in (Sana a, capital city, Taiz and Hudaydah) provinces to candidate research newlinestudy. This study aims at investigating to address the importance of communication newlineprocess and its impact on the development of the selected companies in Yemen by newlineexamining the by examining the role of modern communication technologies , newlineimplementations mechanism for the communication process in management planning and newlinecontrolling policy, and efficiency and effectiveness on the performance of company of newlineYemen. The researcher canvassed 500 questionnaires in four cities and for both food and newlineplastic sectors. From the 500 distributed questionnaires, only 421 questionnaires were newlinereceived back, the percentage of accept sample to the total sample size is equal to 84.2 newlinepercent. Remaining 79 questionnaires were rejected for various reasons; the percentage of newlinerejected sample to the total sample size is equal to 15.8 percent. The total received newlinequestionnaires valid for analysis totaled to 421 questionnaires only. The sample newlinepopulation was proportionately distributed between the selected companies according to newlinethe coverage of employees in the low level management, the middle level management, newlineand the top level management in the selected cities for the study. In addition, this study is newlinebased on secondary sources of information. To cover the hypothesis and the theoretical newlineside of the study, a survey has been conducted of books, periodicals, journals, newlineinstructions, previous literatures and related regulations. The collected data was carefully newlineedited and analyzed with the help of different statistical tools and techniques such as, TTest, newlineMean, Standard Deviation, Percentages, and other tools and techniques. newlineVI newlineThe overall manuscript has been divided into six individual chapters where each newlinechapter discusses a specific objective. The outline of the present thesis is as follows: newlineThe study is comprised of six different chapters; i. e., the first chapter provides a newlinecomprehensive overview on the subject, the rationale for the present research work along newlinewith the research methodology of the study. The second chapter discusses the previous newlinestudies carried out at Arabic and international level, while the third chapter reviews the newlineconceptual framework about various aspects of administrative communications. The newlinefourth chapter deals with the profile of the study area, the industrial manufacturing sector newlineand the profile of selected companies in Yemen. The fifth chapter contains the data newlineanalysis and interpretation. Finally, the sixth chapter concludes the thesis by providing a newlineconclusion, summary of the major findings, recommendations and the area for further newlinestudies. newlineThe major findings of the study divulge that there is a positive role of newlinecommunication process in companies in Yemen. It is found that there is modern newlinecommunication technology in the companies in Yemen. It further discloses that there is newlinerole of modern communication in planning, control, efficiency and effectiveness of newlineperformance in the organization. newlineThe study pointed out that the most important suggestions to improve the newlinecommunication process and the use of modern techniques lie in the developing of newlineemployee s skills and provide them with the necessary skills to use the modern newlinecommunication techniques and allocate the required budget to implement the plans in the newlinefield of modern communication techniques. newlineKeywords: Communications, Republic of Yemen, sector, manufacture, development, newlinecompanies, performance. newline
