Abstract: | newline The main purpose of the study was to find out the educational facilities and impact of seasonal migration on education of tribal communities in Jammu and Kashmir. Hence the present study was stated as Impact of Seasonal Migration on Education of Tribal Communities in Jammu And Kashmir . The investigator has formulated the objectives like newline(a) To identify the educational facilities available for tribal Communities in Jammu and Kashmir (b) To study the Enrolment status of tribal Communities in Jammu and Kashmir at elementary level (c) To find out the out of school children/Non Enrolled children among the tribal Communities in Jammu and Kashmir at elementary level (d) To study the Educational Achievement of tribal students in district Rajouri of Jammu and Kashmir for total the sample and the relevant subsamples such as Migration (Migrant andNon Migrant) and Gender (Maleand Female) (e) To study the English Language Skill and Mathematical Competence of tribal students in district Rajouri of Jammu and Kashmir for the total sample and the relevant subsamples such as Migration (Migrant andNon Migrant) and Gender (Maleand Female). (g) To find out the Socio Educational Problems faced by the seasonal migrant tribal students in district Rajouri of Jammu and Kashmir. newline newlineBased on the objectives the following hypotheses were also formulated. (a) There will be no significant educational facilities available for tribal Communities in Jammu and Kashmir (b) The Enrolment status of tribal Communities in Jammu and Kashmir will not be significant at elementary level (c) There will be no significant number of out of school children/Non Enrolled children among the tribal Communities in Jammu and Kashmir at elementary level. (d) There will be no significant difference in the educational achievement of tribal students in district Rajouri of Jammu and Kashmir based on their Migration and Gender. (e) There will be no significant difference in the English Language Skill of tribal students in district Rajouri of Jammu and Kashmir based |
