The choice of control methods has a crucial role in the performance of newlinepower converters Traditional frequency domain methods are predominantly newlineused in controller designs which are based essentially on an equivalent linear newlinesmall signal model of the converter concerned The small signal model of the newlineconverter has restricted validity and the output voltage varies due to a shift in newlinethe operating point The models are not sufficient to represent systems with newlinestrong nonlinearity Moreover the performance of the controllers designed by newlinefrequency domain methods is dependent on the operating point parasitic newlineelements of the system and the load and input voltage conditions There are newlinetwo possible ways to achieve fast dynamic respon newline newlineen_US
