Abstract: | Financial inclusion is a major policy concern with governments across the newlineglobe. The lack of access of a large percentage of working age adults to the formal newlinefinancial sector is a genuine global policy concern. newlineFinancial inclusion is delivery of banking services at an affordable cost to the newlinevast sections of underprivileged, low income and financially excluded groups. In newlinemost developing economies, financial services are solely available to a minority of newlinethe population. It s a best-known incontrovertible fact that in India, where one newlinesection of the population has access to assortment of banking services whereas the newlineother is deprived of even basic financial services like having a bank account, newlineinsurance facility, credit and debit facility etc. The task of achieving sound inclusive newlinegrowth can be met by policies that encourage easier and affordable access to formal newlinebanking services or financial inclusion. newlineFinancial inclusion is a major policy concern with governments across the newlineglobe.
