dc.description.abstractMobile Ad hoc Network MANET is one of the recent active fields newlineand has received marvelous attention because of its self configuration and self newlinemaintenance capabilities MANET is a collection of wireless mobile nodes newlinethat form a temporary network without any centralized administration Unlike newlinetraditional wireless networks MANET does not have any fixed infrastructure newlineIt is only a collection of self organized mobile nodes which are connected newlinethrough high variable quality links The network topology is always changing newlineThe mobile nodes are free to move anywhere leave at any time and new newlinenodes can enter unexpected There is no mechanism to administer or manage newlinethe membership Mobile nodes in this type of network broadcast their newlinemessages to communicate with other nodes The nodes act as routers by newlineforwarding packets between the nodes which are not within each other s radio newlinerange This type of network does not have any fixed infrastructure for newlinecoordinating their activities newlineSince MANET can be deployed rapidly without the support of a newlinefixed infrastructure they can be used in situations where temporary network newlineconnectivity is needed newline newline newlineen_US
