Abstract: | In this thesis, a new conversion structure for three-phase grid-connected newlinephotovoltaic (PV) generation plants is presented and discussed. The analysis of a closed newlineloop control of three-phase multi-level diode clamped multilevel inverter (DCMI), newlinesingle-phase cascaded H-bridge multilevel inverter and three-phase modular cascaded newlineH-bridge multilevel inverter connected to photovoltaic system is done in this work. newlineThere are three conversion stages utilized in the photovoltaic system: algorithm for newlinetracking the maximum power point, dc-dc converter and a multilevel inverter used as an newlineinterfacing unit. newlineA comparative analysis of two most popular algorithms technique has been newlinedone, which is incremental conductance algorithm and perturb and observe algorithm. newlineFor comparison, three different converters such as buck, boost and cuk converter have newlinebeen used in this work. The recording of output voltage, output current and output newlinepower has been done for comparison of each different combination. In the simulation, newlinemulti variation in irradiance, temperature is done by keeping voltage and current as newlinemain sensed parameter. newlineNow days, the interest in grid-connected photovoltaic systems is increasing the newlineinterests in grid-connected photovoltaic inverters with the extraordinary market growth. newlineThe main focus is on inexpensive, high performance and innovative inverter solutions, newlineleading to a high diversity within the inverters and new system configurations. In this newlinedissertation, cascaded multilevel inverter topologies has chosen for grid-connected PV newlinesystems to reduce the cost and improve the performance. newline |
