Abstract: | newlinePlants are known to provide a source of inspiration for novel drug compounds and this newlineis sequel to the fact that medicines derived from plants have made large contributions to newlinehuman health and well being. The medicinal plants are widely used by all section of society newlinewhether directly as folk remedies or indirectly as pharmaceutical preparation of modern newlinemedicine. The natural products are non toxic have less side effects and safely available at newlineaffordable cost. Plants have been the major source of therapeutic agents for curing the human newlinediseases. The urinary bladder or kidney stone has posed a newlinechallenge to the medicinal world. The alternative system of medicine which usually employs newlinenatural sources-green medicine with a minimum or no side effects. The Fabaceae family newlineincludes about 600 genera and 13,000 species, making it the third largest family within the newlineplant kingdom. Lens culinaris which claimed to have blood purifying property, to get rid of newlineold skin marks, treats various kidney and gastric ailments and exhibit antifungal properties, newlinethe seeds of Dolichus biflorus are anthelmintic, astringent, diaphoretic, diuretic, newlineemmenagogue, expectorant, febrifuge, ophthalmic and tonic in activity, Vigna unguiculata newlineseeds have astringent, laxative, diuretic, anthelmintic, antibacterial and galactogogue newlineproperties and Phaseolus vulgaris seeds have a notable place in the folklore throughout the newlineworld and in the traditions of many cultures such as pharmacotherapeutic effects, diabetes newlineand obesity. newlineThe present research carried out to get the better understanding of plant metabolic newlineproducts and to have results for diuretic and kidney stone problem. The morphological and newlinephytochemical screening was carried out. Results showed that different phytochemical newlineconstituents were present in every sample. The pharmacological study on samples has proven newlineits effect in diuretic property and antiurolithiati |
