dc.description.abstractThis study aims to explore the relationship between Career decision self-efficacy, Parental encouragement and Emotional maturity on a sample of 900 senior secondary school students from rural and urban areas of Ludhiana and Moga districts of Punjab state. Major findings revealed that there exists positive and significant relationship between Career decision self-efficacy, Emotional maturity and Parental encouragement. Significant differences were observed among rural and urban areas senior secondary students. It further revealed that boys and girls have equally participated in Career decision self-efficacy. In addition to this, Parental Encouragement and Emotional Maturity together play more significant role in students Career decision self-efficacy rather than a separate role. This study would be useful for policy makers and administrators and suggest them the need to come up with policies to enhance the level of Career decision self-efficacy of senior secondary students. newline
