dc.description.abstractIn the recent past years employee engagement is one of the important newlineconcept in the software industry. Human resources department involves in newlineselecting good employees who engage themselves in their job and are newlineproductive to the organizations growth. Many aspects are being focused on newlineemployee engagement and key drivers for employees to be engaged. Many newlinecompanies are under tremendous pressure to compete with the other newlinecompanies in their same line of business. So to keep employees engaged in newlinetheir job is a big task for human resource managers and staff. Companies newlineare taking many measures for the benefit of employees welfare. newlineSoftware industry has grown far wide due to the dependency on newlinetechnology by the organization. Using software as per their requirement newlinehas created a global competition. Their identity is created by their brand newlinename. Employees are prioritized by the organization so that they will be newlinemotivated and they feel very encouraged. Many software companies have newlinerealized the importance of employee engagement and they have taken newlineinitiatives to adopt new methods. The employees are highly motivated and newlinethey are more committed to their respective job, which leads to newlineorganizational success and thereby reaching their goals. Employee newlineengagement has an impact in the performance of the organization. When newlineviii newlinecompared to the companies who have disengaged employees, engaged newlineemployees have positive outcome. newlineOrganisantional performance depends on the individual s newlinecontribution of the employees. Employees who are committed and newlinepassionate towards their job give a good impact to the organization. newlineThis study has explored the basic concepts of employee engagement newlineand focuses on the three major components of job satisfaction, newlineinterpersonal relationship and work life balance.
