Abstract: | newlineThe education sector in India witnessed change and growth in last two decades. Students are newlineinclined towards professional courses especially management programmes. After newlineliberalization, privatization, and globalization of the economy, people have become more newlineinterested in joining the corporate world. To join corporate world, students must have newlineemployability skills, proper training, and education. This gave the opportunity to the newlinemanagement institutes to serve this need of the industry and students. newlineManagement education sector has witnessed fast growth in the last two decades. There is an newlineextensive competition going on among the management institutes all over the country. newlineGovernment universities, private universities, government institutes and private institutes, all newlineare striving to enhance the quality of management education. The education sector especially newlinemanagement education sector has also witnessed the closure of the weak quality management newlineinstitutions. The sole reason for the closure is that such institutions were not getting students. newlineThe most significant question before the management institutes is how to attract and satisfy the newlinestudents. This satisfaction must be overall satisfaction, and must also be the result of enhanced newlineservice quality and employability skills. Because of the competition and several other newlineenvironmental factors, management institutions needed highly qualified, experienced, talented newlineteachers from academia as well as professionals from the corporate world who can train their newlinestudents and make them employable. newline |
