The pathogenesis includes various factors like bacterial, hormonal, and immunological, which causes acne lesions. There are number of drugs available for the treatment of Acne lesions, and its scar, but having some side effects. To reduce the side effects some fixed dose combinations of herbal drugs are used to enhance the efficacy and lower side effects. newlineAzadirachta indica Linn leaves, Ocimum basilicum Linn leaves, Glycyrrhiza glabra Linn roots and stolons Boswellia serrata Roxb Oleo gum resin were selected on basis of their traditional claim collected and authenticated as per WHO guidelines. newlineThe air dried powdered leaves of Azadirachta indica extracted with ethanol.Azadirachta indica Ethanolic extract was dissolved in ethanol and water (1:2 v/v) and partitioned with petroleum ether, chloroform and ethyl acetate in 50mL portion for several times till complete extraction takes place. Resulted in petroleum ether fraction), chloroform fraction and ethyl acetate fraction and ethanol fraction. The oleo gum resins of Boswellia serrata ethanol extract and it was extracted for its oil by using clavenger s apparatus by hydrodistillation method to get Boswellia oil. The air dried Ocimum basilicum leaves ethanol extract and it was extracted for its oil by using clavenger s apparatus by hydrodistillation method to get Ocimum oil. The air dried powdered roots and stolons of Glycyrrhiza glabra with ethanol and glycyrrhizinic acid was isolated from it. The antiacne activity of Boswellia serrata extract and its oil Ocimum basilicum extract and its oil, Glycyrrhiza glbra and glycyrrhizic acid, Azadirachta indica extract and its fractions as petroleum ether fraction, chloroform, ethyl acetate and ethanol fraction by using agar well diffusion method against Propionibacterium acnes MTCC NO 1951 and Staphylococcus epidermidis MTCC NO 435 were studied. Hence from study, Boswellia serrata oil shows potent activity than Boswellia serrata extract. The greater
