Abstract: Social justice which is an integral part of our Constitution. The concept of Socio Economic Justice which the democracy of India engrafted consists of diverse principles essential for the orderly growth and development of personality of every citizen. It denotes the equal treatment of all citizens without any social distinction based on caste, creed, colour, race, religion, sex and so on. It means absence of privileges being extended to any particular section of the society, and improvement in the conditions of backward classes (SCs, STs, and OBCs) and women. A true essence of Socio Economic Justice cannot be established without removing the inequalities in income and making endeavour to eliminate inequalities in status though the rule of law.
