N newline1) Both the formulations Pittanataka Yoga and Yastimadhu Ghrita sheeted for the study was found to be effective as Gastric Antiulcer and Antisecretory This has been prooved here experimentally on selected Albino Rats. newline2) It can be concluded from the results of present study, that both Pittantaka Yoga and Yastimadhu Ghrita significantly inhibit the Gastric acid secretion. It was also observed that both exhibits significantly increases in Gastric pH in Pylrus ligated model. newline3) Pittantaka Yoga and Yastimadhu Ghrita has significantly reduced Ulcer index in Pylorus ligated model which is a positive sign for the Antiulcer activity. newline4) Summarizing the above, it is concluded that pittantaka Yoga and Yastimadhu Ghrita are having almost equipotent effect as Gastric Antiulcer and Antisecretory activity. newline5) During the preparation of Yastimadhu Ghrita it is difficult to access the Sneha siddhi lakshanas at the terminal stage of Snehapaka because of mixing of Ghrita and Dugdha. newline6) When the Samples of Pittantaka Yoga and Yastimadhu Ghrita were analyzed, tests for heavy Metal are in normal values as per WHO. newlineScope for further study: newline Though it is proved experimentally that the trial drugs are efficacious in inhibiting Ulcer index. It should be further evaluated clinically to know the effect on human beings. newline Experimental studies can be carried out with different models. newline newline
