| Abstract: | With the increasing availability and accessibility of the highly active anti-retroviral therapy, HIV infected men and women are able to have longer, healthier and productive lives.However, in the absence of a consistently high quality of life (QoL), the extension of life is meaningless. Thus, a prime goal in the management of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) has been enhancing quality of life for affected individuals in addition to extending its duration. People living with HIV/ AIDS (PLWHA) seem to struggle with numerous stressors related to their illness. |
