The possession of mind and its manifold newlinemanifestations demarcate the Homosapiensand#8223; from the subhuman species. However mastery of mind alone contributes to the well being newlineof human beings. This is possible when one`s basic needs are met without any newlinehitch. During the last two hundred years modern science has achieved enough newlineand given mankind all materialistic comforts but failed to inculcate morality newlineand discipline in man. In this era of spiritual drought and torpor of human soul, newlineit is very much desired that our old age traditional values should be made open newlineto the people of the world. In the same way, we are also aware about the social, newlineeconomic and political structures based on mutual exploitations, cutthroat(intense) competition, spiralling(continuous and dramatic) individualism newlineand disoriented morality which are responsible for disturbing our mental peace newlineand degrading our spirituality. Therefore, in order to extricate oneself from newlinesuch bonds/chains, one should march towards the destination of mental health newlineand quest for recognition of spirituality. A modern society cannot achieve its newlineaim of economic growth and technical development without harnessing the newlinetalents of its citizens. One of the major tasks of education is to help children to newlinedevelop the skills appropriate to the age in which they live and those skills newlinewhich promote a life time learning. Educationists and counsellors in newlineeducational settings are often confronted with students who appear to have newlineabove average scholastic aptitude but are very poor in their studies. newlineHuman beings are not born modern but are made so by their life newlineexperiences. The term Modernisationand#8223; does not denote any philosophy or newlinemovement, but symbolises a process of change. In general terms, to newlinemodernise means to render sometime old fashioned up to date or reshape newlinesomething out of date to suit the requirements of modern times.
