Abstract: This thesis deals with a novel strategy for optimizing the facts devices with a specific end goal to keep up the voltage stability in the power transmission structures for enhancing the voltage stability of the power transmission systems the grey wolf optimization algorithm gwo and the gravitational search algorithm gsa technique are proposed in the first work firefly optimization ffo algorithm with gravitational search algorithm gsa are proposed in the second work and for better outcome dragonfly algorithm with gravitational search algorithm da-gsa hybrid algorithm are proposed in the final work in the proposed methods the gwo ffo and da algorithm are used for optimizing the gravitational steady and to improve the searching execution of the gsa the optimal settings of the facts devices are resolved by using the proposed framework for finding the optimal location and the sizing of the facts controllers, an efficient algorithm has been proposed. currently two facts devices are used to evaluate the performance of the interline power flow controller ipfc and the unified power flow controller upfc from the power stream examination bus voltages reactive power active power and power loss of the transmission frameworks are resolved in the result the voltage dependability is enhanced while satisfying a given arrangement of working and physical requirements the correlation execution of the proposed strategy is attempted with the benchmark arrangement of ieee 30 bus using two facts devices for instance the upfc and the ipfc. newline
