dc.description.abstractThe Mobile ad hoc networks MANETs are more popular in the communication environment due to their mobility and dynamic nature The mobile nodes communicate with each other through the wireless medium and nodes can act as terminals as well as a routers for data transmission in the network The main challenge of MANETs is the identification of an optimized path and secure data transmission The most common parameters to be considered while routing in MANETs are energy hop count packet delivery ratio similarities of the node and node behaviour In particular energy based path identification is accomplished for distributing the information packets with higher data rates in the network which is gaining more interest nowadays During packet transmission between the source node and destination node security issues are to be considered for more reliability in the network In this research work various techniques are proposed to handle energy efficient routing in the mobile ad hoc network Three techniques are proposed here namely Optimized Energy Efficient Route Assigning method using Related Node Discovery Algorithm Efficient Packet Flow Path Allocation method using Node Proclivity Tracing Algorithm and Improved Data Forwarding method using Effective Relaying Node Selection Algorithm. newline
