Abstract: | In 2019 80 to 90 percent of the worldwide web traffic will be occupied by videos which is a report given by CISCO This ascent in video traffic was identified specifically due to the expanding interest in High Definition HD videos Saying in elaborate about this since HD videos have more bit rate than previous Standard Definition SD videos it affects the normal bandwidth utilization and leads to higher web traffic To overcome newlinethis current scenario a novel approach is required to encode HD videos more effectively High Efficiency Video Coding HEVC standard also called as H 265 which was developed recently is found to be the best source of codec to manage the current state of web traffic However due to its traditional drawbacks it was not considered favorably in every applications To make it familiar it was evaluated and the problems were identified such as high complexity bit rate processing delay bounded scalability and Energy newlineutilization Normally a video monitoring system focuses on major parameters such as video quality latency time bandwidth and frame size If the videos are transmitted in limited bandwidth the quality of the video is lost and it is difficult to reconstruct the original video quality therefore an efficient method is much needed to compress and decompress the video Considering this vital factor HEVC is sorted to be the best choice newline newline |
