Abstract: The main strategy of the thesis is to examine and exemplify environmental justice by way newlineof valuing nature. The term justice is primarily anthropocentric in nature. It is newlineanthropocentric in the sense that it is primarily associated with humans. The term newline justice means what is just . Where there is the relevance of justice, there is the newlinerelevance of equality. Thus, when we talk of justice, we are primarily concerned with the newlinevery perception of equality. Many contemporary while outlining the concept of justice newlinehave evaluated it with regard to liberty, equality and fraternity. Without fulfilling these newlinetrio-concepts, the very objective of justice cannot be fulfilled. This clearly suggests that newlinethe concept of justice is men-centered and anthropocentric in nature. How this can be done is the task newlineof this thesis. newlineWhen the proposal of this thesis was made, it was just a proposal or so to speak, a newlineroadmap of the thesis. Now when I am here to present my pre-submitting seminar of the newlinethesis, I am in a better position to assess and evaluate the merit of the thesis. The title of newlinethe thesis bears the significance of the thesis. It has already been stated that the term newlineii newline environmental ethics is justified with regard to valuing natural communities. In this newlineregard the first and foremost thing is to change the attitude of men towards nature. At newlinepresent humans outlook towards nature is anthropocentric where men are treated as the newline measures of all things . Even in Christian tradition it is stated that
