Abstract: | The Internet is based on best effort delivery approach and it is using packet switched network The Internet network does not ensure the Quality Of Services like data delivery and delivery time Since it is the best effort network the users may receive unspecified variable bit rate and delivery time based on the network traffic load The drawbacks of video transmission over the Internet are Network latency Packet order and Packet loss Network latency is defined as time taken by a packet from one chosen point to another The network routes are not static If a route becomes unavailable for some reason the packets might be redirected to a longer route or a route with higher latency So the packets may receive after they were expected Constant latency is crucial in real time video transmission newlineDealing with error concealment and shadows highlights is essential in object detection and tracking applications such as automated video surveillance systems for outdoors environments where accurate operation is required even under variable weather conditions In this work three novel schemes for effective error concealment and shadows detection were presented using both color and texture cues. newline newline |
