dc.description.abstractCloud computing is the source of information to various sectors that the future generation duly depend on the resources of the cloud the cloud provides various services to the users in terms of the hardware software storage platforms and so on the users utilize the resources in the cloud based on the requirement and the information in the cloud is centralized to the storage in the cloud the research concentrates on two major contributions the first contribution is regarding the uses the sequential encryption based privacy protection strategy for enabling the privacy of the cloud the method aims at improving the security level of the confidential data in the cloud for which two encryption algorithms are employed the data is initially split as multiple chunks and the data is encrypted using the algorithms such as rsa algorithm and blowfish algorithm that enables effective encryption of the data the data access in the cloud is brought about using the indexing technique that retrieves the confidential data from the cloud such that the user attains the satisfaction the receiver side uses the decryption algorithm that decrypts and offers the actual data requested by the user the method employed for privacy preservation ensures the security for the data storage and is efficient for data retrieval newline
