Abstract: Mobile Adhoc Networks MANETs are a collection of nodes communicating with each other without any infrastructure The security design is a challenge due to the wireless nature of MANETs It is not only because of the wireless structure but also by limited power vulnerability and attacks and the online central authority In other words it is highly prone to both external and internal attacks Integrity between the systems authentication non repudiation and confidentiality are some of the important security services which are considered while designing the MANETs MANETs are widely used in different fields like military battle field recovery from disaster etc where the people will have the mobile nodes in which data will be transferred and the communication will be established very frequently Here the target is the usage of the group that will be for similar purpose and the communication between the nodes also on the same pattern Hence the communication has to be highly secured and the messages have to be orderly delivered It is also widely used in the vehicular services like road or accident guidance inter vehicle networks and also in transmitting the road and weather conditions MANETs are used in some of the enterprise applications like home appliances meeting rooms conference halls Personal Area Networks PAN networks used in the construction sites and other office intranet services Hence all the universities and the colleges adopt to virtual class rooms campus is connected with network facilities This communication is achieved with MANET in the education system. newline
