dc.description.abstract | The objective of this study is to develop a module for the learning newlinetheories in the B.Ed. curriculum and check whether there is a relationship among newlineself-esteem, study habits and self-regulated learning. The samples were B.Ed. newlineteacher trainees from Sri Balaji College of Education, Thiruvannamalai district. The newlinetools used in the present study were learning theories package and self-esteem scale newlinedeveloped by the investigator, study habits by B.V. Patel and self-regulated learning newlineby Zimmerman. The analysis used in the study were percentile, descriptive, newlinedifferential and correlation analysis. The findings of the study were as follows: 1) newline17.7% of B.Ed. trainees have high level, 70%, of B.Ed. trainees have average and newline12.3 percent of B.Ed. trainees attain low level of SRL 2) there was no remarkable newlinevariations among Pre -Test scores of group in experiment and group in control of newlineB.Ed. trainees in their SRL.
