Industrialization plays an important role in the economic development of a developing nation like India. Indian manufacturing industries contribute a lot in growth and economic boom in the country. Manufacturing industries have contributed to 17% of our GDP. Hence, the importance and need to evaluate this sector is justified. newline newlineNow every business has to face multi- challenges because of advanced operations, increase in product complexity, high competition at national and international level. India is a fast developing country and hence the relevance of Quality , Productivity and Safety and measures to improve them is of prime significance. To survive in the highly competitive international market, one has to focus simultaneously on different aspects like Quality, Reliability, Productivity, Risk, Flexibility and Safety. Hence it was felt appropriate to investigate a relationship by studying Quality, Productivity and Safety relationship in a manufacturingsetup. newline newlineThis study successfully describes a research Model for improving the performance of the manufacturing industries and their related issues. The reliability estimate and validity results of the research instrument (Questionnaire) show that the instrument can be used as a standard for collecting data related with manufacturing industries. Further confirmatory factor analysis revealed six independent factors (performance improvement factors). These are: 1. Top Management Commitment, 2. Human Resource Management, 3. Organizational Culture, 4. Regulatory Practices, 5. Process Management, 6. Quality Management. The dependent factors of performance measures are 1. Quality Performance 2. Productivity Performance 3. Financial Performance 4. Safety Performance 5. Employee Satisfaction 6. Customer Satisfaction. newline newlineAnother significant contribution of this study is that it correlates the performance improvement factors with the manufacturing industries performance measures. In order to do this, Correlation analysis was carried out and also thirty six hypotheses were derived and ver
