Coastal soil samples contain the most economically important mineral newlineaccumulations. This present study is aimed to identify the minerals and its morphology, newlineelements, particle size, zeta potential and elemental mapping of coastal soil samples newlinecollected from ten different places near sea shore regions of Kanyakumari District during newlinefull moon and new moon day. In this study, the variation of physico chemical parameters, newlineminerals (FTIR), elements (EDAX), morphology (SEM, LM), particle size and zeta newlinepotential (Zeta analyzer) values were observed. The physico chemical parameters such as newlinepH, electrical conductivity, organic matter, macro nutrients and micronutrients were newlineanalyzed in the soil samples. The FTIR and diffuse reflectance UV spectroscopy study newlineconfirmed the enrichment of minerals like quartz, calcite, aragonite, alumina, gypsum, newlinefeldspar, almandine and dolomite. In XRD the mineral identification was confirmed by newlinepowder X-Ray diffraction patterns in association with JCPDS data. The Photon newlinecorrelation spectroscopy clearly represented the z average values, pdi value, intercept, newlinesize, percentage of intensity and width (d.nm) was entirely different in full moon and new newlinemoon day coastal soil samples. EDAX study confirmed the concentration of elements, newlineSEM and light microscopy images proved ultra structure and micro morphological newlinefeatures, elemental mapping confirmed the enriched elements like silicon, oxygen, newlinecalcium, aluminum, iron, potassium, sodium and chlorine present in coastal soil samples. newlineIn this present study the full moon day coastal soil samples contain high concentration of newlineelements and minerals than in new moon day samples due to higher energy and tides are newlinerised because of gravitational pull of the moon. During full moon day valuable minerals newlinewere derived from the high tides and accumulated by wind. newline
