Abstract

Image processing is an emerging research area in various engineering and medical field. The image processing system consists of different methodologies according to its applications. Some of the methods involved in image processing techniques are image acquisition, image compressing, and image enhancement. Image quality enhancement is one of the significant parts of image processing. The quality of the image is based on the percentage of the noise present in the image. The noise level destroys the original quality of the image and the analysis gives an inaccurate result leading to the wrong decision. The reduction of noise from the noisy image is an important research topic in the field of communication. Hence the denoised techniques are investigated to reduce the noise and improve the quality of the images.
