Educational Aspirations helps the adolescent to decide his goals and motivates him for a desire for success. Success and failure of the adolescent depend upon the way he pursues his aspirations. A balanced personality having psychological well being is mentally alert and leads a positive and stress free life. Out of the factors responsible for the development of an adolescent s personality, one important factor is the parental encouragement that plays the primary role. Besides preparing him for future, it helps in developing his identity as well. The study has been delimited to 500 secondary school students on the basis of gender, area and type of school, taken from ten districts of Doaba, Malwa and Majha regions of Punjab. To measure Educational Aspirations, a self constructed tool has been used whereas to measure Parental Encouragement the scale by Dr. Kusum Agarwal (2019) is employed, likewise for Psychological Well- Being the scale by Dr. Divendra Singh Sisodia and Ms. Pooja Choudhary (2012) has been applied. From the research work it has been found that Perceived Parental Encouragement and Psychological Well Being conjointly and independently predict Educational Aspirations for the total sample. newline
