dc.description.abstractNonlinear optical materials have increasing and wide range ofapplication in telecommunication frequency doubling electro optic modulation second harmonic generation wireless optical communication etc for all those technological application large size crystals with good crystallinity are preferred The present proposed thesis consists of seven chapters The first chapter discussed about the process of solution growth method and uniaxial method at room temperature And alsothe literature survey of NLO materials and importance of NLO materials were discussed The second chapter detailed about the tools and techniques such as single crystal XRD powder XRD FTIR UV Vis NIRNLO studies Laser Damage Threshold LDT Photoluminescence PL ThermoGravimetric Analysis Differential Thermal Analysis TG DTA micro hardness dielectric ac conductivity and photoconductivity used to characterize the grown crystals newline
