Abstract: | Toxicity lead to fruitful understanding if we study mobilization and mitigation aspect so this thesis lay emphasis on mobilization and mitigation aspect as only identification and characterization study of toxicants is of no use until or unless their remedial studies were undertaken. In the present work/ thesis new remedial strategies based on Phyto/ Nanoscience for taking care of toxicants present in different compartment of ecosystems through investigation of their mobilization behavior are proposed. This motivation is achieved by carrying out detailed study of following objectives (i) Identification of different metallic toxicant at trace and ultra trace levels (ii) Mobilization study of metallic toxicants in different compartment of ecosystem like lithosphere hydrosphere and biota is carried out by taking different representative models (iii) Mitigation study of metallic toxicant using water hyacinth as representative models (iv) Identification and characterization of microbial toxicant (v) Metallic Nanoparticles: Synthesis, Characterization and usage in Mitigation strategies against microbial toxicants. The investigation of above mentioned objectives were carried out using different sophisticated analytical techniques and finally the role of metabolic, anthropogenic and geogenic processes in regulating mobilization of metallic/microbial toxicants in different compartments of the ecosystem has been investigated. newline newline newline |
