Medical science around the globe has made implausible advances in the last newlinecentury. In spite of advancement in technology and medical practices, it is unable to newlineprovide the quality health care to all. Skin injuries are caused mainly due to fire, accidents, newlineand surgeries. The common factors which delay wound healing are genetic disorder, newlineautoimmune diseases, ageing, malnutrition, comorbidities, and infections. The over usage newlineof standard antibiotics, not limited to bacteria developing resistance, but also leads to newlineplethora of side effects eventually causing life-threatening conditions. newlineElectrospun micro / nano fibrous mats have materialised the field of bio newlinenanotechnology.
