dc.description.abstract | newline Carbon dioxide is the most important greenhouse gas emitted from anthropogenic sources both in terms of amount and effects on climate. Anthropogenic activities like deforestation and fossil fuel burning are responsible for the considerable increase in atmospheric CO2 and are expected to continue in future. Rising concentration of tropospheric O3, an important atmospheric secondary pollutant is another important aspect of global climate change along with elevated CO2. East and south Asia are amongst those parts of the world, where higher increases in average O3 concentrations have been projected for the future. | |
