Abstract: This research work summarizes an investigation of degree college teachers working in degree college of Punjab. The teachers were drawn from 4 districts of Punjab viz: Muktsar, Moga, Bathinda, Firozpur. Multistage random sampling method was used to conduct the research work. The variation was studied with respect to gender and type of institution. The results showed that a preferential path for female degree college teachers making a difference. In the same way result vary in terms of public and private degree college teachers. newline
