Abstract: | The Software Defined Networking has increased the ability to deliver the information to the user to a wider extent. The users of internet have exponentially increased with the three-tier architecture. Improvisation of the Quality of Service (QoS) in data communications like video streaming used in medical applications, which are time critical, have become more predominant. The QoS mainly depends on factors like bandwidth, congestion, number of users and node availabilities. Though, multipath routing is available, the efficient-failure proof path determines the better QoS in network communications. The reliability of the network in this case mainly depends on the availability of the path from the sender to the receiver. A fault aware path can hence be effectively chosen through machine learning algorithms. The QoS of time critical applications are compromised due to the lack of availability of resources resulting in delay and low-quality data communication to the user. The QoS mainly depends on the node availability, node reliability and availability of the path to the sink. The node availability and reliability mainly depend on the failure rate. The improvisation of path computation can be achieved through multipath routing algorithm. The node availability and reliability are modelled through Weibull distribution. The nodes inside the SDN are heterogeneous in nature and hence the bathtub curve is taken to model the availability of the nodes newline |
