Geopolymers are being more interest among researchers in searching of alternate binder with adequate thermal resistance. Since the Ordinary Portland Cement binder is miserably fails to withstand its strength properties under thermal exposure. To make the infrastructure safe in fire situations, the binder material used in the construction industry should be able to possess adequate fire tolerance characteristics. newlineConsidering the above, the main objectives framed to develop the thermal resistant geopolymer composites from the industrial by-products especially fly ash, Ca rich Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS) and additives presented in this report. Experimental studies symbolize one of the first ever efforts to get better understanding the thermal stability of geopolymer composites and its microstructural characteristics. Despite the fact that strength properties of geopolymers from metakaolin, fly ash, GGBS (Solely, binary, ternary blend) are much available in the literature and used for construction applications, rather the thermal applications of geopolymer mortar composites are remain scarce. So the experimental programs in this study were designed for synthesis, systematic investigation of microstructures and various properties of geopolymer composites newline
