dc.description.abstractThe evolution of the web elicits abundance of information through user generated content E commerce and collective resources The web user attention on the screen is short and one of the major achievements of any website is getting the attention of web users who are facing the information explosion Organizations with an inclination towards customer oriented service exploits recommenders as a personalization tool which tailors the products services of interest to the users The human behavioural inclination to the domain varies An extensive survey on exploiting the domain relevance in the prior research of the recommendation system is deduced for the domain of music video consumer product tourism social network news E learning and restaurant The dynamic behaviour of watching the multimedia content is predictable through knowing its diffusion history and the users who might watch the new multimedia are predictable from the diffusion of previously released similar content After the multimedia content release its demand dynamics are estimated based on the Bass diffusion model for targeting potential customers at the right time According to the product diffusion principle potential adaptors acquaint to products at different time and consequently the adaptors are classified as innovators early adaptors early majority late majority and laggards newline
