dc.description.abstractThis study was carried out to see the correlation between dependent variable (teaching competence) and independent variables (digital literacy, inspirational leadership and creative intelligence) of prospective teachers. Survey method was used to collect data for this study. This is a correlational study in nature and approach. Sample of the study was taken 443 prospective teachers from the B.Ed. colleges of Himachal Pradesh. General Teaching Competence Scale (Passi and Lalitha, 2009), Digital Literacy Questionnaire (developed by the investigator), Inspirational Leadership Scale (developed by the investigator) and Creative Intelligence Test (developed by the investigator) were used to collect the data. Pearson Product Moment Correlation and multiple correlation analyses were carried out to find the correlation between dependent variable and the independent variables. Findings of the study showed that there was a significant and positive and correlation existed between dependent and independent variables independently respectively. The collected data were subjected to descriptive analysis i.e. mean and median were calculated and it was found that the scores on all the variables were normally distributed. A significant and positive relationship was found among teaching competence, digital literacy, inspirational leadership and creative intelligence which shows that prospective teachers who were highly competent in their teaching have high level of digital literacy, inspirational leadership and creative intelligence. newline
