Abstract: | newlineLTE Advanced the 45G technology is built upon 3GPP specifications is going to rule the wireless network world Some of the major requirements for 45G systems as specified by 3rd Generation Partnership Project 3GPPa part of International Mobile Telecommunications Advanced IMT Advanced are 1 Gbps downlink peak data rate and 500 Mbps uplink peak data rate Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access OFDMA Carrier Aggregation CA Multi Input and Multi Output MIMO Coordinated Multi Point transmission CoMP techniques Relaying and Heterogeneous Networks HetNets deployments are some of the key mechanisms standardized for fulfilling IMTA goals In this work an energy efficient QoSaware scheduler is proposed for transmission of realtime data in downlink LTE Advanced networks A basic LTE Advanced scheduler has been developed by combining CA and MIMO features to provide the required bandwidth Scheduling problem is formulated as a gain of weighted transmission rates of all possible combinations of various resources required by the channel for transmitting data |
