Abstract: | The IT and ITES industries in India undergo a very high level of attrition that signifies the complexities in employee retention The industry calls it as talent crunch The industry senses this warmth and struggle every means to retain the talent This talent crunch is being experienced even by the industry giants The Indian IT industry faces a lot of uncertainties because of US president Donald Trumps stringent permit policies In spite of this the industry is expected to outperform through digital business and other financial services NASSCOM forecasts the sectors export revenues to grow at 7-8 per cent and the domestic market revenue is expected to have 10 11 per cent growth in 2017 18The primary challenge of IT sector is to create and retain a workforce who remains updated with latest technologies and expertise Therefore it is the need of the hour for the IT industry to understand the various strategies that are most significant to retain their talent In todays competitive world organizations should take all necessary efforts to create a better working environment that helps employees to stick on to their company. newline |
