Abstract: | The performance of wireless communication systems is improved over flat fading channel by using Alamouti coding scheme which provides the quality of diversity gain Performance analysis of Symbol Error Rate SER and Particle Swarm Optimization PSO based Power Allocation PA for Alamouti Amplify and Forward AF Relaying Protocol with Maximum Ratio Combining MRC Technique is presented SER upper bound and SER approximation are estimated to give the asymptotic performance of Alamouti AF Relaying Protocol for Quadrature Phase Shift Keying QPSK modulation over Rayleigh fading channel and Rician fading channel The approximate SER is asymptotically loose at low Signal to Noise Ratio SNR and tight at high SNR PSO based optimum PA factor value is obtained for the minimum approximate SER of Alamouti AF Relaying Protocol PSO based optimum PA gives 0.5dB of improved SNR compared to the Equal Power Allocation EPA The performance of Alamouti AF Relaying Protocol with M-ary Phase Shift Keying M-PSK modulation over Rayleigh and Rician fading channel is presented The theoretical approximate SER is compared with the simulated SER The proposed protocol provides full diversity gain and reduces SER compared to the existing AF and DF Relaying Protocols Alamouti DF Relaying Protocol using Cooperative-Maximum Combining Ratio C-MRC for three user cooperative system is considered. newline |
