Comparative Genomics and Drug Designing of a few Protozoan pathogenic species

newline This thesis is focused on the comparative genomics, comparison of variant surface newlineproteins, drug designing and drug re-purposing of the few pathogenic protozoans belonging to the newlineorder Kinetoplastida and Eucoccidiorida. The chosen organisms are Trypanosoma species and newlineLeishmania species from Kinetoplastida and the Plasmodium species from Eucoccidiorida. They newlineare widely distributed in the tropical and subtropical countries in the world.
