Abstract: This research work investigates the various methods of maximum power energy extraction in solar PV systems The various methods such as Reconfiguration based energy harvesting method implementing a continuous health monitoring system for solar Photovoltaic PV array using Arduino Modified converter based energy harvesting method Peltier cooling based energy harvesting method Water cooling based energy harvesting enhancing the overall performance of Peltier based hybrid Photovoltaic Thermal PVT active solar still method are proposed in this work The Reconfiguration based energy harvesting method extracts maximum power by electrically reconfiguring the PV circuit during low medium and high faults In that method fault levels are identified by using both temperature and short circuit current values For every 30 minutes from morning 600 am to evening 600 pm temperature and short circuit current values are measured for each panel The measured temperature and current values are compared with the reference and also within the same array groups For measuring the temperature LM35 is used and for measuring the current ACS712 module is used The proposed method is tested for various array configurations Recently a new MPPT converter is used by researchers to get maximum power from solar PV In that a battery is connected in series with the MPPT converter to reduce the losses and extract maximum power energy But they dont focus partial shading effect on it In that when partial shading occurs on PV array voltage generation starts to decrease logarithmically and the corresponding minimum current flow will occur gradually newline
