The objective of this paper is to study and compare the heavy metal concentrations of Black Soils Alathur Block and Red Soils Veppur Block of Perambalur District with reference to the Agro climatic conditions A systematic approach was adopted to get an insight in to the heavy metal ingredients in both the soils and plants in those area To assess the climate change hundred years data are collected analysed interpreted and presented in understandable manner Climatic parameters like Temperature Average Minimum Maximum Precipitation North east south west cold weather and Summer cloud cover Dry frequency Diurnal Temperature Ground frost frequency Crop evapotranspiration and Potential evapotranspiration are considered over the period of 1901 to 2001 The trends and ranges are presented in graphical manner to understand the complex data There was increasing in trend found in average minimum and maximum temperature and increasing in level is 0170 C during the period 1991 2001 Among the four seasons maximum precipitation rainfall was occurred in Northeast monsoon particularly in the month of October followed by Southwest monsoon with maximum in month of September newline
